THE PEACE RUG: A PLACE FOR KIDS TO START PEACE...
I first met Dr. Helen McIntosh when we both presented at The Glasser Quality School Consortium International Conference. Her invention, The Peace Rug, teaches children how to solve teasing and bullying. The rugs now lie in classrooms across America as well as Canada.
Helen wrote Eric, Jose & The Peace Rug, that teaches children the same skills and helps with reading, too! Helen has done research on teasing and bullying and The Peace Rug works! She is a Certified Reality Therapist as well as a counseling psychologist. Her hope is that children will learn at a young age how to resolve conflicts before matters get out of hand. www.peacerug.com

It is exciting when I am a guest on Dianne
Linderman's live radio show. She inspires me with
her dedication to children and her many projects. I love her quote about children today, "Let's plant
their feet in fertile soil and let them blossom with self-respect,
confidence, industry, and fun." Dianne and I presented together at a California state conference.
Our workshop was entitled, Build A Resume~Develop the Positive~Become
Entrepreneurial.
